Rockin’ on the River – Paddle Tour!

Hosted by Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper & Shank’s Mare Outfitters

Spend an evening paddling the Susquehanna River and discover unique areas in Lancaster like the Conejohola Flats, an important migratory birding area. Experienced guides from Shank’s Mare Outfitters will not only lead you safely through your tour but also give you interesting information about some of the issues around the area, its natural features, and historical highlights of the River at Lake Clarke.

Following the paddle join us at Shank’s Mare Outfitters for “Rockin’ on the River” – an evening of live music with the J.C. Fisher Band. The Kilted Griller food truck will be available. Bring chairs, blankets, etc. and BYOB welcome. Show ends at 9PM. Registration is required for the tour. See you on the River!

Children 5-10 years must have a parent/guardian on the same kayak (double kayak). • Children 11-15 years may rent their own kayak/board, but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the water with them. • Children 16-17 years old may rent their own kayak/board and be on the water on their own, but must have a parent/guardian sign a waiver.
