Conestoga River Rush & River Folk Festival

Test your mettle in one or all of 3 race categories; the Sprint, the Dash, or the Enduro. If racing isn’t your speed, join us in Conestoga River Park to cheer on the competitor. While your there you will find some of the best local food trucks, informational displays and events, and other activities.

Race Details:

Each of the three courses offer unique challenges with a mix of class 1 to 2 + features mixed with stretches of flat water. Racers can compete in either Kayak, Canoe or SUP; Surfskis are strongly discouraged from this event due to the narrow river corridor and shallow, rocky conditions in places.

Standard race format is a mass start, first to the finish. Awards will be for the top 3 finishers of each distance and fastest overall.

1. The Sprint-3.5 miles, $25 entry, start time 1:30pm Saturday
2. The Dash- 12 miles, $25 entry, start time 8:00am Saturday
3. The Enduro-24 miles, $30 entry, start time 8:00am Sunday
4. The Rush- all three races, $75 entry, chance to win best overall and “River Rush Ruler” trophy.

Racers will meet at Conestoga River Park and will be shuttled to the starting line with their boat and safety gear. All waivers and contestant information forms MUST be completed before being shuttled to the start line. Racers should arrive at the park one hour before race start time.
