Brodi Zimmer
Communications & Outreach Coordinator
Brodi grew up in York County near one of her top five favorite places on earth, Sam Lewis State Park. Her first career was in television production in Washington DC and Baltimore. She served as Writer/Producer, Associate Producer, and Line Producer on multiple crews creating on-air promotions and documentaries for broadcast on PBS, Discovery Health Channel, TLC, and HBO.
After becoming a mom and returning to her hometown, she applied her skills to work freelance and on staff for many local non-profit organizations including York Suburban Communities that Care, York County History Center, and York College Center for Community Engagement.
Brodi enjoys being part of small teams that make a big difference in the community and our world. Her passion is communicating through various forms and combinations of still photography, film and video, sound, and written words.
Brodi is committed to learning more about our watershed and focusing her energy on helping to fulfill our mission to protect our waterways from pollution and advocate for clean water. Her responsibilities focus on communications, outreach, marketing and anything it takes to help our team accomplish the work.
Brodi earned a B.S. in Mass Communications (Film & Video) from Towson University and was an Exchange Student at Liverpool John Moores University in England.
