5th Annual Dam Bridge Challenge – LSRA EVENT

The DAM BRIDGE CHALLENGE returns in 2023 to Lake Clarke on the Susquehanna River in Wrightsville, PA.

Spend the morning out on the water getting to know one of the oldest rivers in the world – the mighty Susquehanna River.

Choose from four different paddle races of varying lengths on Lake Clarke in the Lower Susquehanna River.

After the water races, we’ll move the fun onto the land at Shank’s Mare Outfitters with music, good food and cold beverages. Enjoy a beer with your paddle people as we celebrate with an Awards Ceremony.

The Dam Bridge Challenge
From our headquarters at Shank’s Mare Outfitters, paddling to the Safe Harbor Dam OR to the Veterans Memorial Bridge is a 10-mile round trip. This is THE CHALLENGE! The direction of the Challenge will be decided on race morning. 3-mile, 1-mile and ¼ races are also available. Challenge yourself as you take in the beautiful Susquehanna Riverlands landscape and support clean water!
