I see more than one 10 mile course. Which way do we go?
As an added element of fun and suspense, we will announce the direction for the 10 mile course at the racer meeting on the race morning.
Can we register the morning of the event?
Registration will be open the morning of the event, however we can’t guarantee you will receive a shirt in your size. To be guaranteed your size, racers must register no later than August 17. Please note, we will have shirt sizes from small to XXXL. You can request your size at packet pick up and we will do our best to accommodate you.
What does my entry fee cover?
Your entry fee directly supports the work of Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper to ensure clean water for this critical watershed. In addition, each racer will receive special racer swag, lunch, beer and refreshments, along with live music and an awards ceremony.
Are paddleboard and kayak rentals available?
If you are interested in renting, we have partnered with Shank’s Mare Outfitters for your rental needs. To reserve rental kayaks for the race, call Shank’s Mare at 717-252-1616. Sit-on-top kayaks in both single and double models are available.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are allowed when properly leashed.
Is food available to purchase?
Yes, you can order from a variety of food trucks who will be on hand serving spectators.
Does everyone have to race or can we paddle for fun and be part of the fundraising event?
Our one mile course is designed for beginners and recreational paddlers who want to join the fun, enjoy a nice cruise, and support their Riverkeeper!
Are there vendor spots available?
There are a limited number of vendor spots available. Please contact us at info@lowsusriverkeeper.org with your interest.
I am no longer able to participate. Can I get a refund?
As this event is a fundraiser, all registrations are non-refundable. Limited bib transfers will be available to paddlers who notify us in advance of race day.
