Alaina Consagra is an amateur naturalist with an adventurous spirit and passionate reverence for our environment. She has cherished living so close to the scared Susquehanna River in Cumberland and Dauphin counties her entire life.
Alaina’s affinity for boating in the Susquehanna and surrounding tributaries offers her delightful opportunities to observe and identify local flora and fauna.
The enchantment of our waters and forests provides an outlet for her passions of naturalism and painting.
Alaina first heard about the Riverkeeper network while visiting Georgia’s Black Warrior River in 2006 and was honored to become Secretary for the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association Board in 2018. She has also been employed at Isaac’s Restaurants since 2012. Alaina strives to cultivate deep gratitude and appreciation for the gifts provided by the natural world and our Earth’s fragile and limited resources.
